Becoming a Client
The first step for arranging services is a brief 15-minute screening over the phone (free of cost) to determine if our services are the right match for your needs. You can call 410-480-8052 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a screening call.
If we agree that we are a good fit for working together on your issues, we’ll schedule an appointment and begin the treatment process. If the Bell Center is not the best match for meeting your needs, we will refer you to service providers who specialize in those identified areas. Please note that the Bell Center does not prescribe medications. Referrals to psychiatric providers will be provided when appropriate.
Once an initial appointment has been agreed upon, you will receive an email to connect through the Client Portal through Simple Practice (the HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform). There will be forms for you to read and complete prior to our first session. If the new client is under 18, there will be forms to be completed by the client and for the custodial parent or guardian to complete.
If you are a Medicare recipient or if you anticipate being eligible for Medicare in the next 2 years, there are two additional Medicare forms to complete. These confirm that we are entering into a private contract and that Medicare will not provide reimbursement for services.
If you are considering submitting to your insurance company for reimbursement, we strongly recommend that you confirm your out-of-network benefits prior to the initial appointment. Information to help guide you through this process is included on the Fees/Pricing page.
